Growing up in the leafy North Shore of Sydney, I’ve always loved being creative and enjoyed using makeup as a creative outlet. I’m passionate about showing people how makeup can enhance natural beauty and add fun and flair to each clients’ unique personality. After graduating from high school where I enjoyed the customer experience side of hospitality and the colourful aspects of photography, I decided to combine my creative passions into studying a Diploma of Screen and Media (Specialised Makeup) at TAFE Ryde. 

Whilst working on my qualifications, I gained a variety of skills in applying makeup to a range of skin shapes, types and tones. I gained further experience by working at Innisfree (Korean Skincare & Makeup) I was able to learn in depth about skincare and makeup. After working on the retail side, I decided to make a big move to Perth and further pursued my passion by working at a salon in Swan Valley. The growth of my portfolio and experience have been influenced through these various workplaces and clientele.

I thoroughly enjoy working with a range of clients and tailoring my services to their needs. I specialise in makeup for both bridal and special events as well as brows, lashes, tanning, waxing and facials. Brands I love using include Nars, Dior, Estee Lauder, MAC and Bobbi Brown. 

Outside of work, I love spending time with my dog, Rosa, and going to the beach as well as traveling and photography.

Beauty by Xara is located in Osborne Park, Perth, working from my welcoming home-based salon and can travel for group bookings. I’d be delighted to work with you on your needs and help you achieve your beauty goals.
